Allah was the name of the moon god from Mohammed's family tribe. That is why the crescent moon appears as a Muslim symbol. The term Allah means "most high god" -- Mohammed's family tribe considered the moon god to be higher than all of their other pagan gods. When Mohammed created Islam, he took the term "Allah" and applied it to God. Mohammed had obviously read a copy of the Torah and a copy of the New Testament, because that is where all the "Prophets of God" come from (other than himself). I suspect that he never read any of the ancient prophetic writings like Isaiah and Daniel, nor did he read the books like 1&2 Samuel or 1&2 Chronicles because he does include any of these prophets in his writings.

Yes the GOD of Isreal is the ONE & ONLY GOD!
The true God will not allow any thing pagan around Him! As in the ten commandments, have no other gods before me. That is the same as being involved in paganism.

Judaism
Christianity
Hinduism (yes, it is actually monotheistic. All the gods in Hinduism are facets, or expressions, of the same god)
Rastafarianism
Paganism comes in many flavors; some, such as the Dianists, are indeed monotheistic.
Others I can't think of offhand.
