ending you life will not end your families suffering, it will increase it, if you want to end you drug addiction, then get in a 12 step program, or go the teen challenge, you do not have to be a teen to get in, you just need to have a problem that you want help with.

Please take some time and think. I'm guessing that you'll hear people here telling you what a sin it is and all that crap. You'll also likely hear that "it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem" and I know that's crap too.

Mental illness is a disease. Addiction is a disease. The problem you face is that most rehabs won't take people with mental illnesses. The truth is that there are some that do. There are hospitals who will treat both.

From what I've seen, faith in Jesus, while good for some, is not the cure to addiction. It's important, but it doesn't cure the physical addiction in most. Narcotics Anonymous, or Alcoholics anonymous work for two reasons:

1: They provide the fellowship of people who have been through the things you are going through as an addict.

2: They work with your faith, without trying to change it, and empower you to have a closer relationship with your God.

Still, many addicts require some sort of treatment in order to recover to the point where they can start working a program such as N.A.

That said, the only good reason that I can give you for not trying suicide right now is simply this: You haven't tried all of your options yet. You have some very valid choices.

I was probably more like you than you might think. I used drugs, but my primary drug was alcohol. For about four years, I was in and out of hospitals every six months. My final hurrah found me waking up in intensive care after an overdose during a bender. I had tried suicide multiple times. I was a cutter. I would disappear and my family was to the point that they barely noticed.

I got better. Things aren't perfect yet. I still am Bipolar, but it's much more under control. I'm done with the booze. I'm no longer using.

Please give it a shot and try to find some help. If you need help finding help, email me and I'l help you out there too.

I dont think a suicide will actually land you in Heaven. Even though you're saved and baptized, you still commit a sin when you kill yourself. ["Thou shalt not kill"] And because you're the one that's dead, then you can't really ask for forgiveness can you? It's really complicated. If you don't love yourself enough to protect the temple of God [your body] then I don't think God would actually allow you into his Kingdom.

I thought about this too when I was going through a bad time and I wanted to kill myself. And I realized that even though taking my life would be the easiest thing to do, it wouldn't be the best. So instead of considering taking your life away, why don't you try to deal with your drug addiction and get some help with whatever mental problems you have.

Your family must be hurting, but imagine how they'll feel when you take your life away. You'll be sending the message that they didn't really do enough for you to stay on Earth with them. They'll be in more suffering than they are now. They love you. =]

Why do you want to end your life? Come on there are other things than that. I am not the judge of whether you will go to heaven or not only God is. But I tell you I wouldn't risk my eternity just on that notion. Is there no one you can talk to such as a therapist or family or anybody. Don't do it, there are people in this world that actually would like to help you!!!

I will pray for you.

Ending your life would be a poor decision. God has a better plan for you! Exodus 20:13 tells us, "Thou shalt not kill." This would include yourself.

I cannot stress enough that God has a better plan for you! He loves you so much! If you allow Him to take over, He can turn your life around! I know this is true, if you need the Bible verses, just ask!

Please, please don't make this mistake. You are considering a permanent solution to a temporary problem. (By the way, I use the word "solution" for lack of a better word.) God loves, you! Your family loves you! I don't even know you, but God has worked on my heart, and I feel compassion for you; you could say that I love you!

God will pull you through this, just trust in Him. God can make your life so much better; remember that He can use take you and make you an instrument of His glory!

There is a great Christian website, and let me quote one of their pages:
"The next time you feel like God can't use you, just remember . . .

NOAH was a drunk.
ABRAHAM was too old.
ISAAC was a daydreamer.
JACOB was a liar.
LEAH was ugly.
JOSEPH was abused.
MOSES had a stuttering problem.
GIDEON was afraid.
SAMSON had long hair, and was a womanizer!
RAHAB was a prostitute!
JEREMIAH and TIMOTHY were too young.
DAVID had an affair and was a murderer.
ELIJAH was suicidal.
ISAIAH preached naked.
JONAH ran from God.
NAOMI was a widow.
JOB went bankrupt.
PETER denied Christ.
The Disciples fell asleep while praying.
MARTHA worried about everything.
MARY MAGDALENE was, well, you know ...
The SAMARITAN WOMAN was divorced ... more than once!
ZACCHEUS was too small.
PAUL was too religious.
TIMOTHY had an ulcer .
AND LAZARUS WAS DEAD!...

NO MORE EXCUSES! NOW GET TO WORK! :)
The Lord is waiting to use your full potential. "

Now you know that the Bible isn't full of people who were born perfect. BUT, God makes people perfect, all they must do is allow Him to take over! The Bible makes it plain that if we give ourselves to God, He will direct us into purity and perfection of character, don't let people tell you differently!

God can fix everything!

I am definitely going to pray for you! Please, please, don't make this mistake! God bless you!

I wouldn't risk it. Some might say suicide is a sin, and you will go to hell since you can't ask for forgiveness. But people sin all time and then die without asking forgiveness, car accident or what not. People are never perfect and we never know when we will die, and you can't spend all day asking for forgiveness. But I think suicide shows a different attitude. Things have to be pretty rotten for you. I feel bad for you. I promise you though it is NEVER too bad for God to fix. He never ever plans for anyone to take their own life. Get some serious counseling about the depression you are having maybe a pastor or whoever, preferably one who can help you focus your eyes on Jesus. Remember how peter was sinking and he called out to Jesus to save him? He needed to keep his eyes on Jesus. Fill your life with him. He is what you really want to be addicted to . Fill the hole in your life with Christ. But like I said at the beginning. I wouldn't want to risk it hoping to get out life. You were born for a reason, you were paid for with a terrible price. Do not underestimate your value to those around you or to Jesus.

God created us in his likeness and for a purpose. He has a plan for you. I can assure you it is not to die like this. Since you are a believer in God, which is evident because you are concerned with going to Heaven after you pass, you are able help yourself. God can help you with any problem you have. Psalm 34:4: I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Seek with all your heart for the Lord to help you and I will pray for you as well. Surely your family will suffer more to see you end your own life, and surely they want to see you live a long life. God bless you.

Don't end your life - your family will suffer more when you're gone!
I've been to church forever I'm 17 now and still I do sinful things! Everyone does! Everyone on this earth is a sinner - obviously you included. God loves you whatever you do and is waiting until you die for you to accept him into your heart! And do not take your own life! God gave it to you and it is a waste! You've been baptized and saved so what's wrong now? If your feeling guilty at least you're not numb! Pray to God for guidance, he is always overjoyed to welcome you back!
Good luck!

The choice to end your life is your own. Letting the fear of eternal damnation stop you from something you feel is right is a mistake. However, carefully consider your personal strength. We often doubt the ability in ourselves to overcome our problems; leading us to give up before we find our potential. Let this trial make you and those around you stronger, not destroy you, and the love that others bare for you.

What would be a better way to be remembered: "He loved us so much that he killed himself so we wouldn't have to suffer." OR: "He loved us so much that he prayed constantly and worked hard to straighten out his life, and it worked! Praise God!"

You see, we are told in Matthew 5:14 & 16, "Ye are the light of the world... Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

God is giving you an opportunity to have an INCREDIBLE testimony to show people how amazing God is! We are told in Romans 8:28 that, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose."

God wants to use your terrible situation to make you a stronger Christian, perhaps even a preacher! You can use this situation you are in for God's glory! Praise God!

God bless you, I will keep you in prayer.
