Well, you have to ask yourself what's more important...the race possibly going to jail? There will be many more races, so I would stay home.

,Never disobey a court order. This should have been worked out beforehand and there should be a clause in the custody papers that let's the minor child go to school events, as long as they are supervised. If nothing else get permission from the parent that objects and you may be able to go without a problem. Even asking the parent to come with you, ( the one who doesn't want you out of the county), should be OK, unless the court has ordered these terms for you protection. Also if you are under some sort of probation, do not go!

Are you kidding me? If you aren't sure whether or not you are allowed to go then DON'T go. There are plenty of races to run in when you find out the details of your court order.

As ridiculous as the order may be, you don't want to do anything to risk your children. That is life.

Take Care.

I truly don't think that applies to a brief trip. Child custody does not mean imprisonment. Get a sitter for the child.

Which do you love more? The child? Or the race?

I am not sure of your circumstances, but I would say don't go. Your children are more important than a race.

And if you have to serve jail time, you won't be racing or taking care of your child.
