Try to relax and don't think about it negatively. Don't dwell on it. Just be happy that you weren't injured. Accidents happen. Be happy and you'll be fine.

There is a therapy called EMDR. Simple therapy that was originally used to help Vietnam Vets get out of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Try to search on the web for a Therapist who is trained in EMDR. It will truly help you. When I had it done, I discussed the trauma as a therapist had tiny lights flash back and forth as my eyes followed them and we talked. That is all it is. But so effective. Somehow, it seems to trigger the brain to stop a cycle of continued thinking about the trauma. It does take several sessions, I did feel better soon after the second session though. I had a total of 10. I really hope you are able to see someone and feel better. I know what it is like being in a devastating car accident. I can sympathize.

Go to a counselor to talk things out. Try to get the accident out of your head by doing things of interest to you. Go shopping, go to a movie, see a play, go boating. Be around people and that will get your mind off it.
