Broccoli gets soggy very easily. Freezing is the best way to preserve it, but even then, it gets pretty soft. Fresh is best! :0)

Hum!!! I never thought of that! There must be a reason..... But you know...- alot of canned stuff is overcooked & over salty- NOT a good way to put broccoli on the table. So maybe THAT'S why; it just doesn't survive the canning process well.

~~~hmmm,,,,wow,,good question,,,, I dont think Broccoli had to proper elements to "can" with out getting extreamly over cooked and soggy,,,,still,,,,,good ? . cause I really have never seen canned broccoli,,,,hmmmm
