Alright this might be a simple no answer but here we go....... I was wondering considering that the ships leave the 21 mile international waters soon from port, does the gambling age still apply? Meaning if we're 50 miles away from any US port can underage people gamble on the ships' casinos?

We had our son at age 16 gambling with us, but then again, he was with both his parents. I'm sure this helped. He did look older since we had him dress up a little bit and it was around four o'clock when the casinos were quiet.

Have fun though. Cruises are a blast!

It does not matter what waters the ship is sailing in. It depends on what country of laws the cruise line follows. Most lines require 18 for Casinos and 21 for drinking.

If I recall correctly, every ship I've ever been on had an 18 year old minimum gambling age.
