I understand.. that long couple months is torture.. you lay down then you have to pee and takes 10 mins just to get off the bed then to do it all over again 30 mnis later..lol.. and for me the 3rd trimester was even tougher then the 1st because I was sick more often and had more food aversions.
I'd try to get your partner to head to the library for you or go online and order some books and rent some movies and just relax and get some rest. It's true what they say about not getting much after teh baby is born. The first few weeks you will if you sleep when the baby sleeps because the baby will sleep all the time - but you end up getting up a few times a night to feed him/her which can drain you.
Just drink plenty of water, stay on your vitamins and try and relax...
Also, I've seen these things that are like belly slings - so if you feel the baby is too heavy for you then you could get one of these belly slings - it helps to lift the belly a bit to alleviate the pain. I never tried it but some people liked theirs. :)

I am sorry you are stressed.
If you don't mind me asking, what is the deal with house rest? I have never heard of such a thing.
If it is just being careful about what you do, cant you rest at other peoples homes? Go visiting your family and friends.
Go sit at a restaurant on a busy street and people watch.
At home to keep you occupied you can: Christmas shop online, make a pregnancy scrapbook, organize your photo albums, Soduko puzzles or crossword puzzles, join a parenting online group, rent a TV show that is out on DVD that you never had a chance to watch such as Desperate Housewives, 24, or LOST.
Good luck. Use this time to be productive. Organize, organize, organize!
And, sorry to tell you BUT you have many more years of hauling a baby around so don't think it will be all peaches and cream in a month. The babies get heavier and they have more stuff and you don't have the excuse to hide behind...but I'm pregnant.
Feel better!

Enjoy that last month before your little baby is outside screaming at you for service to one end or the other. Sleep and dream and try to focus on positive things. Do you have any friends or family? The supportive baby sling sounded like a good idea, even around the house. Drink water and juices and raspberry leaf tea. Concentrate on doing the best you can now for the baby you will soon be holding. Eat the best you can and splurge once in a while, give yourself a treat. Use your imagination, before it atrophies!

if it is your first pregnance read up on everything about being a parents. Get as much sleep as you can. When the baby gets here you wont have much time to sleep the best thing is to relax.
