You get the man to fall madly in love with you, so much so that he can't possibly live with out you, well not happily anyways. Then you find out your pregnant, your mother forces you to marry him ............ after 10 years you think your mother and tell him how much you love him.
OK so maybe that's not the best way but it is how my husband and I got married 8 years ago.........remind me to thank my mother in another 2 years.

Read the book The Rules. This book will teach any woman how to get a quality man to ask him to marry her. It really works. I used it and got 2 marriage propsals.
