That crap really doesnt matter. Once you get outta highschool you look at all the high school popularlity and politics and just laugh. You wont talk or see most of those people ever again.

ask what she is doing this weekend or what she is doing this friday or whatever. if she answers something like "going to the mall" or "going to a party" then simply, non chalantly ask "oh nice, can i come?"
then, once u are hanging out with them, you are "hooked up" with their group

Invite her whole group to your house for a party. Once they see how much fun you are, they will be begging for you to hang out with them.
