i was going through the papers to get everything together for my license on dec 5th, and i woke up this morning but i couldnt find my permit where i thought i had left it the day before. can i still go to the DMV on tuesday and get my license without paying a fee?

Don't know which state you are in, - or what age you are! Some require permit (drivers education) for people under a certian age! In Texas where I live, you need nothing to do drivers test except for passing written test if you are over age of 18,. - (2 grandsons last year), - this year one had to have his drivers permit (he is 17 years old), - plus his birth certifiacte and scocil security card, -- (think because of illegal alien legislation)! Had drivers permit for 4 weeks before took test! (and passed)

Put in state, and maybe somebody will tell you what you need there!
