problems with nero 7?

Im using the latest version of nero 7.5.9 when i try to burn a dvd with it it ejects and tells me to put in a dvd-rw or dvd- r dl the blank dvds im using are maxell dvd+r rws and then when i try to format the dvd or erase with incd it tells me that there is no rewritable disk in anyone know how to fix this problem

Dont use DVD+Rs! read your own question! The simple answer is your burner doesnt support +!
