Not really, some people don't even know they have put the needle in until they look down and its all over with but it doesn't hurt when u get it pierced i dont think anyways but....like a few hours after it hurts a little bit, but that only last for about a day or so..your body is just getting used to it..!

Some people say yes, some say no. Personally mine didn't. Have you got any other peircings, because that will give you an indication as to how bad it will feel. If your worried, most good body peircers will offer an anasthetic swab or wipe, and some can even give locals.

I defenitely thought it hurt, but not for very long. I've had a lot of friends who don't think it was that painful at all. I also got mine a little infected because I wasn't diligent about the after-care routine, which is pretty gross. That said, I'd probably get it done again!!!

According to my daughter, the only thing that hurt was the clamp that holds the skin to pierce the area. Please remember you will have a lot of santatizing to do to keep it free from infection. The best thing to use is H2O - it is a spray (small can). They may offer and or recommend it at the place you get your piercing Good Luck !

Yes, it hurts...and it takes quite a long time to heal. Mine took about 6 months. I loved it but it took a while to get used to.

Yes, they do hurt. My daughter-in-law had one; I say this because she removed the ring due to all of the pain plus it caught on all of her clothing.
This is the way I believe; if we were meant to have extra holes in our body - we would have been born with them.
People who pierce their body or get tatoos - are just plain stupid.

But she is sitting rite beside me and had hers done professionally....she didnt even realize that they had touched a needle to her until after it was done...and she was 13.
