Well yeah it's basically what it says. There is this guy I really like and I'm 14. I liked him at the end of 7th grade which was a couple of years ago. I still like him but the thing is I don't know how to talk to him. I think about it all the time but he is always with his friends that really makes it hard and you know he isn't exactly in any of my classes. I also see him before school starts, during lunch, and a few times getting picked from school, but again he is always with his friends. I wish I wasn't so shy. I can't do that thing like get your friend to talk to him or whatever because I don't have anyone I get to do that. How can I just talk to him alone? Even that though, what do I say? Should I say Hey haven't I seen you before or what? All of a sudden life has just gotten so complicated. In 7th grade he would say hi to me in the hallways, now I don't even know if he knows who I am. If you have any idea about what I should do please let me know I am so depressed.

The best thing to do is just go up and talk to him and get to know him better, become friends then maybe move towards more. Perhaps you may find that he's not what your looking for after all.
And, he may turn you down, but as the saying goes, there are more fish in the sea, life goes on, and chances are that if you're only 14 now that you'll have many more boyfriends before you get married, so there would be nothing to fret over being turned down.
But, if you don't approach him, then you'll be asking yourself "What if?" for the rest of your life.

Don't start out with a line from a movie, it never works. Just say hey or hi. Find out what he likes, and ask his opinion on it. Like, if he's into video games, ask him about what kind of video game does he think your bro or your cousin would like for Christmas, that you're trying to get a guy's opinion on it. You could direct the question to the guys in the group and look at him. Just don't gush about you liking him. When you feel comfortable, you can tell him in private.

i am kinda in the same situation only I'm 16 and i met this guy last year in ninth grade and like u I'm real shy unless I'm with my BFF's than I'm crazy but anyway the best thing i could say is to take a chance u never know he might just like u to.and trust me i learned that the hard way in middle school so even though your scared take a risk.

do one thing...just kinda talk to him...
u dont have to say anything big from the beginning...
just kinda see if you ever see him alone..and if u do....say hi...u were in my classes before weren't u...stuff like that..
and then maybe after talking for a while..u might get some smiles from him in the hallways...
later after a while, then u can ask..wanna hang out..u know something light like that..move slow...

k....this is the same w/ my friend at skool also....she likes another guy....ALSO.....wat u should do is either rite a note saying i would like to meet u "somewhere"(write a name of place like library, or hallway,or by locker......)and say from a secret admire or SOS...(u do know wat SOS means rite....i hope....hehehe).....or.....u could tell 1 of his friends 2 tell the guy U like to meet u after school ALONE....and then u can talk with him....its very easy.....if u think bout it.......bye-bye

ok well...im our opinion...you should put a note in his locker. and sign it.. but if he is a jerk and he decides to show people, then i would just go with your gut instinct and "accidentally" run into him . or just make time to walk past him. make a point to be seen. trust me, it works!! good luck!!! hope we helped you@!
