What is the process of downloading and burning movies to dvd?

I recently purchased a dell laptop with a dvd burner. I want to learn how to download and burn new movies. I have limewire but im not sure which types of files to downlaod and Once they are downloaded how do I play them to make sure that it burnt well? My windows media player wont show the video, just the audio. Anyways, I need help!!!

Most Likely windowws media player lost the video portion of the movie while converting to WMA the file type windows media uses, or the file from limewire was bad or corrupt. this means you have to find the movie elsewhere to download it. when you find a movie that works to burn a DVD you have to have a CD of large memory no smaller then 1.5 Gb but no larger then 3.0 GB that would be a total waste. load the Cd in the CD slot then pull up the movie file in windows browser like in my videos or something like that. once you have the movies icon in front of you right click it then click send to, then CD/DVD. then go to my computer and click on the CD/DVD icon. it will show the movies name but not done yet. click on the option that says write this file to the disc. it will take several minuets depending on the legnth of the file. the Cd will eject itself when complete. hope this helps. brodster,.

I'm not sure where to download movies from, but the quality online is likely compromised anyway. Best to rent a dvd from the video store. The software I would use are both freeware: 1) DVD Shrink - this will burn the movie onto your computer. 2) IMG Burn - this will burn the movie off your computer ONTO a blank dvd. Just google the freeware to download them.

12.Click on Main Movie
13.Click on Back Up
14.Target DVD Writer from Movie Location {line 4}
