Yes, of course.
You can buy a remote control by itself at Target or Walmart or even Sears - lots of places. And tell your folks it is the one you always use.

Or you can go to the website of the brand of TV you have, to buy one that is exactly the right one.

Circuit city and Staples have them. Phillips and Zenith are two popular brands. They call it Universal Remote and claim they work with over 325 brands. They cost under ten bucks but when on sale they have a full rebate and are free.

you can buy a universal remote control just about anywhere. i just got one at walmart for about $5, you just put in the batteries, enter the code for your brand of tv. If you don't want one like that, call any tv repair place, they can probably order a remote for your brand, it'll just be more expensive that way. good luck.

each physique else hit the pros rather lots yet right that's the fact of the Wii for each individual i be responsive to that offered one. They have been very excited regarding the hot administration interface for a pair of month and downloaded a set of the classic titles. Now their Wiis sit down around unused and amassing airborne dirt and dust because of the fact the novelty has worn off and that they are left with a console containing hardware comparable to the ps2 and a now complicated administration type with lack luster video games. earlier you make investments the money in the wii, attempt it out and particularly think of long term approximately it. in case you're an off-the-cuff or new gamer, threat is you would be please with the wii. in case you're a longtime gamer, you will maximum in all threat take exhilaration in it for awhile until the novelty of the hot controller and the classic titles positioned on off. you will then comprehend which you purchased a final technology console and paid 250 money once you might have offered a ps2 for 129.00. i'm no longer likely to permit you be responsive to to purchase a 360, PS3, or the rest; this is as much as you. i'm in basic terms asserting to take a step returned and think of roughly what you quite get once you purchase a wii. My suggestion is to discover a chum that already has one an play along with her or him for a minimum of a month, then come to a determination in case you go with your guy or woman. in case you bear in mind in basic terms one factor approximately this answer, permit or no longer it quite is this: do no longer purchase any gaming console based entirely on value. study all the factors (video games, HD help, on line play, device Hardware, Dvd Playback, .......) and make your determination consistent with what's important to you.
