When the Transportation system is changed so that all use the same Modular Express and Transit Systems, then there will be no need for Personal Status symbols displayed by cars.
As the amount of Drivers goes up, and the non work on the Infrastructure continues, the crash rate will grow in an exponential proportion. You can make the car as safe as you wish, but human error will allways be at fault.

As above, when people appreciate the responsibility of driving a potentially lethal assault weapon. When they become courteous, patient, and calm. When they don't listen to distracting music so loud they can't hear sirens. When they aren't on the phone, putting on makeup, looking something up on the map, looking on the floor for something they dropped, or giving a ********.
