i used lemon or lime juice before and it workd in about three days. but it depends on your skin. if you drink a lot of water, and take vitamine e pills your skin will heal faster. if you try the lime/lemon juice only put it on the spot alos it burns so do it at night before you go to bed. what the lemons/ lime do its the acidy peels your skin and like 2 days later when you wash your fast with warm water the dark spot sssshould peel off. i have fair skin and ive done it for like two years and so far it worked fully.. but might not wok for you

I had cystic acne until I was treated with Accutane. After that, I had a lot of scars which faded with time. The dark spots just need time to heal. If you use a small brush and a concealer, you should be able to cover them up until they're gone.
You might want to stop using Neutrogena. It's very harsh and just makes acne worse. Obviously it doesn't work if you've been using it for three months with no improvement. Try a gentler line like Cetaphil or Purpose.
Then, smile. A smile has a strange way of camouflaging any blemish, and I speak from a lot of experience. Have a great time in Vegas!

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

i had the exact problem! i used to have acne, and picked some of it.. and it left scars.. so while the acne was gone, there were still these little red dots.. and i hated it! i went to the dermatologist and asked her what to do.. she said to keep washing your face with Neutrogena Oil Free Acne wash.. which works GREAT! and then use Mederma cream on it after... it made all the scars dissapear! it took a little while, but i'm soo happy they're gone! definitely try it!
i know how u feel! good luck!

Nothing will ever take them completely away, but there are a few tricks you can use to mask the appearance of them. First of all, continue using your Nutrogena Acne Fading Peel; it won't ever get rid of them, but it will lighten them as light as they can go. Nightly, rub cocoa butter on them, just a little bit and wait until it absorbs to go to bed. Another trick you can use is, since you don't like makeup, a tinted moisturizer. It will mask them more and it isn't necessarily makeup. It's a moisurizer.
Best of luck to you!
