You asked a very good question for meditators!
The answer depends on the person.There is this phenomenon called nimitta(counter image) whereby when a meditator has reached a certain level of concentration nimitta would appeared!
So for a 'bad' guy he might see some things related to his 'bad' deeds.
At this stage it is very important that he/she must have the guidance of an experience teacher.

no that is not the way it works, meditation is to clear the mind not remorse or to dwell.

even a bad guy has reality check if it does if the God u serve does not help Seek my Abba and he will remove them from u if u truly repentant.This mean trun from ur sin and be healed.
