It depends: if you have recently bought the wine, return it to the merchant for an exchange.
How old is the wine? How has it been stored? Are you sure the wine is leaking -- often some wine appears on the top of the cork during the bottling process.
If the wine has been in very hot conditions then wine may be forced out and the cork lifted -- in which case the wine is most likely spoiled.
If you can't return the wine, open it asap and taste it.

That probably means the cork isn't being kept moist. Make sure you're storing the bottles tilted so that the wine is in contact with the cork. Also, storing it in a somewhat humid room isn't a bad idea: for example, the basement.

the wine was properly stored standing up,the cork not being in contact with the wine shrivelled up, allowing seepage.It maybe vinegarish.

it is probably a rotted cork...when they rot out, the cork splits and allows fluid to pass through as well. you need to replace it immediately so that it doesn't spoil the taste of the wine itself.
