When you look at their tactics to promote and integrate their "Great Faith" into society, doesn't it evoke the image of a snake or weasel in your mind?

dog sneeze is correct in a way. The Essenes a Judaic sect at the time of Jesus left us the Dead Sea Scrolls which I believe contain fragments of what would be termed by modern-day Pharisaic Judaism as Christian scripture yet Jews once used it and accepted it as valid, historical and authoritative. These fragments wouldn't have been New Testament scripture but Old Testament or inter covenant scripture written by funny enough Hebrew scholars called the seventy who translated the Hebrew scriptures into Greek in Egypt called the Septuagint some 250 years before Jesus Christ. this translation is told to be of the highest quality that most Jews (Hebrews) of Diaspora used it and many more in Palestine as Greek had become the langua franca (language of common use)

They did not rearrange the Old Testament. That would never have worked. They simply wrote the new story to match as much with the old as they could.

Compare Ruth 4:18-22; 1 Chr.1:34; 2:1-15 with Matthew 1:1-6 and Lk. 3:31-34. Compare Mtt.1:23 with Is.7:14. Compare Mtt. 2:1 Lk.2:4-7 with Mic. 5:2. Compare Mtt.2:13-18 with Hos.11:1; Jer.31:15. Compare Mtt.3:16 with Is.11:2 & 42:1; Compare Mtt.4:5 with Neh.11:1, 18.Compare Mtt.4:12-16 with Is. 9:1, 2.Compare Mtt.5:3 with Ps.37:11. Compare Mtt.6:10 with Ps.103:20.Compare Mtt.12:18-21 with Is.42:1-4. Compare Mtt.21: 42 with Ps.118: 22, 23. Compare Mtt. 26:31 with Zech.13:7. Compare Mtt.26: 14-16; 27: 3-10; Mk. 14:10, 11; Lk.22: 3-6 with Ps.41:9; Zech. 11:12, 13; Jer. 32: 6-9. Compare Mtt. 26:67; Lk. 22: 63-65 with Is. 50:6; 53:3. Compare Mtt. 27: 11-66; Mk.23: 2-55; Jn.18:1 - 19:42 with Is.50:6; 52:14; 53:1-12; Ps. 22: 1-18; 69:19-21; Zech. 11:10, 11. Anyone with only a gram of common sense and intelligence can tell from the aforementioned verses of Scripture that it would've been impossible for anyone to manipulate these prophesies or to rearrange them. The OT prophecies are very explicit and specific in their foretelling of future events. I've only listed a few of the OT prophecies fulfilled by the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ -there were over 300 OT prophesies thus fulfilled. I haven't even touched on how the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ -according to the disciples and Jesus Christ- fulfilled all of the OT animal sacrifices commanded by God in the OT, including and especially the Passover lamb. Why don't you simply admit that a) You are completely ignorant of the Bible and its prophecies b) That you simply refuse to believe the Bible and in Jesus Christ, regardless of the evidence of prophecy c) That you're determined to continue in this life of ignorance and rebellion, regardless of the evidence and d) That you are completely biased against the Bible -especially the NT- Jesus Christ and His Church because of wilfull ignorance, foolish pride and the love of sin and rebellion.
PS. Those still under the Law of the OT must provide all of the animal sacrifices for the redemption of their souls. No sacrifices, no redemption. Those who do not live by the Law -every single letter and word of it- shall die by the Law. Woe unto him/her that has no sacrifice for the redemption of his/her soul to offer up unto the Almighty God, as He commanded.

No scam at all, but if you wish to stay in the administration of death, feel free. You are serving sin by clinging to that old testament. The new testament frees you from the realm of sin, which is law, or as Genesis put it, the knowledge of good and evil

Everything that is found in the old testament can be found in the new testament. You cannot understand the new testament without the old testament . God is perfect the whole bible is the word of God.

If what your saying is true, then i would think the Jewish community would be broadcasting this conspiracy that u mention, but as someone already stated, the Dead sea scrolls actually prove that your mistaken. YOu offer no proof for your theory at all, that's sad and i hope u reexamine the bible sometime.

I suppose that the leaders of the church realized the great challenges they would face in gaining support without it. Promotion is half the sale, even today.

How true that is!!!!!! The Nicea Council changed and made up Christianity as they wanted it...from making up the trinity and on.

The NT is not part of the Tanakh-The Holy Scriptures.
