There are 3 persons who are the one God. They are described in the Bible as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus was actually 100% God and 100% human, but He did not use His own power to live as a human. If He had used His own power to live as a human He could not have logically been our substitute and died for our sins. He used only the power that each of us can also tap into which is the power from God the Father.
Humans can not fully understand God and never will be able to, but we can learn a lot and enough for us to believe.

Callie you would not believe how many people actually ask this question. I will do my best to answer, but first I would not suggest reading the Catechism, stick to the Bible, which is the root and source of doctrine. Jesus was both man and God, to understand this one must understand that God is a Spirit(John 4:24) And no man has seen God at anytime. Concerning the Son of God one must understand that he was flesh. What was the difference between God and the Son of God? Only one thing "substance". God's Spirit resided in Christ for the main purpose of being the sacrifice for sins. God could not die so he had to make a fleshly body that he himself dwelt in to be supreme sacrifice for sin. John !:! In the beginning was the WORD and the WORD was with God and WAS GOD. John 1:4 And the WORD was MADE FLESH. God who is the WORD was actually made flesh. Jesus was both all God in Spirit and and all MAN in FLESH. Is Jesus a separate person from the Father? Some would like to believe so, but the Word of God in no way supports or suggest this idea. Jesus had both a divine will and a human will since he was completely both. And since he was completely human he in his humanity could pray, fast, worship, sleep, eat, hunger, thirst. But as God he never sleeps nor slumbers, he is worshiped,is the well of life, bread of life. Flesh could die but God cannot die, do to make the flesh divine would be error since God cannot die. God merrily inhabited the body of the Lord Jesus, so the bottom line is the only Spirit that was in Jesus was God the Father Himself.

Jesus was a man. He was literally God on earth. What you are speaking of, Jesus being God's Son and also the belief that God is also the Holy Spirit, is what is known as the Holy Trinity. Most Christians (though there are a few Protestant groups who disagree) believe that God is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
"The faith of all Christians rests on the Trinity" (Catechism of the Catholic Church, Part One: The Profession of Faith: Section Two, paragraph 232).
I highly suggest that you read the Catechism, especially the entire Section Two of the Profession of Faith. It goes into high detail of explaining what is the Holy Trinity. This is also alluded to in the Bible, though it isn't literally called the Trinity. This was a term devised by the Catholic Church in order to explain this "mystery" of the power of God.
In short, you aren't expected to understand why or how God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are God in Three Persons. It is simply something you have to have faith in.

It's ok, I don't think too many have a practical or real idea about what he was. Jesus was the son of God, and yes an actual man. He sacraficed himself to the progress of the Human Condition (which of course is still pretty close to full on misery, but a little farther from hell thanks to Him) and reached the enlightenment after human desire, pride, (suicidal) sin and fear of death. Because of the power He touched hidden inside Life and the love of that, He enlightened many to a glimpse of that paradise. Being that in touch with the Eternal and Infinite intelligence makes him seem an anomaly or enhanced version of Man.
Preguntas? Can't help you, unless we both get really lucky.

God was the begining, but we still lived in sin, sin that would send us to hell, so he sent his son, Jesus. Jesus was the sacrifice so we could be forgiven. Jesus was a real man he walked the earth like you and me. He suffered all the things we do, tempation, seduction, anger, all these things tempted him but he suffered through it all to show us that we can too.
Now as far as his identity;
God is in Heaven, Jesus is God's Journey to the Earth, and The Holy Spirit is the breath of God, I know its so confusing, but think of them all as seperate entities, but the same spirit.
I would recomend searching on bible study websites for further information.
Don't get frustrated if you don't understand some of the idea's the bible presents, remember we as human are incapible of understanding God's ways and plans.

God is the creator of all things and Jesus is his first creation and therefore his Son. John 1:1 says that in the beginning was the Word (another name for Jesus) and the Word was with God and the Word was a god (meaning that Jesus was powerful).

Jesus is the Son of God. He came to earth as a human and died to save it. He did great and powerful things. Since He was human, we should also be able to do these.
God is everything. Jesus is God.
God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit=The Godhead.
The Father is the Creator, the Son is the Son of the Creator.

I don't know that I would call the son of God an actual man, however Jesus was sent to live on earth and show people how to live, how to pray, how to teach, how to heal, even raise Lazarus from the dead, however his primary reason was to shed his blood for your sins and mine and the whole world. He also showed us like Jesus who arose from the dead we will also.

Ok, look at it this way, there is God the Father (whom we refer to as God), God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of God).
I know that doesn't make a lot of sense, but it's the best I have.
