The more desperate you are, the harder it's going to be. What guy is going to want to date a girl who is desperate? That's right--NONE.
Love who you are NOW, as a single gal. Why do you need some guy to tie you down? Guys are fine, don't get me wrong, but being single is even better.
Love who you are NOW. Best advice I can give you. Stop looking and start living life. If you get a boyfriend, great. It's not going to change who you are.

Try posting an ad on Yahoo personals. Let them come to you online by posting your own ad intead of replying to theirs. I met a doctor this way, we dated on and off for three years. I did, however, get 100 emails from different men within a week. This was about five years ago but the online dating scene is probably the same. Yahoo personals are still pretty good I think.

Why do you so desperately NEED a B/F !? It's not all it's hyped up to be for your teenagers. Just look at half these questions on here. They are having problems with their B/F's and G/F's. So how do you think that it is going to be different for you? You need to focus on your school work and let the rest happen on it's own timetable.

No one likes a desperate girlfriend or boyfriend.
If you find one by chance they will be equally as desperate as you. And, that will lead to a bad relationship. Concentrate on you and have fun in the moment. Enjoy being young!! :))

why do you feel that you need a bf real bad? Can 't you be content with being yourself. If you come across needy or desparate you will only attract the bottm feeders. You attract what you put out.

Hint to him that you want him for your boyfriend. Casually mention how all your friends are always ditching you for their boyfriends and how annoying that is and how your stuck home with nothing to do cuz you don't have a boyfriend. Something like that.
