The past couple of days in the Northeast saw temperatures in the low-to-mid 70s; record highs. Can these extreme warm-spells drastically effect warm weather creatures like bees, bears, and migrating birds who normally lay dormant during the colder months?

yes it can affect animals. birds for example, usually mate in spring/summer time, however if the fall temperature feels that of spring or summer, the birds will mate causing a rise in bird numbers which can also be consider pest like to humans. animals that hibernate in the fall seasons, won't sleep because it is not cold enough for them. they might even run out of food because they're eating to maintain their body weight.
