Oh contrare Mr. Ed but Protestants are coming home to Catholicism, I like to think God is working one by one. The beauty of it is retention of converts to Catholicism tends to be higher than visa verse and of course there is no church hopping afterward as denominationalism is found within Protestantism but not in Catholicism

java you've avoided my question to you on another thread. you talk about what is ture but cannot provide an answer about who decides what the true gospel is

java you sound confused this question is dealing with one religion and its name is Christianity. Our greatest scandal as Christians is our lack of full unity.

St. Paul was merely a man java are you telling me you won't listen to him if he was teaching you? The reality is java even those who dislike the authority of the Pope have their own popes either their preacher or pastor or council of elders or......themselves. God is love and he is also order.

As Jesus prayed for his followers to be one, I am sure the Father can arrange that. I just want everyone to be one in the HOLY SPIRIT and not some other spirit. Your right though, with other denominations going to openly gay clergy living in sin to women bishops and junk like that a tremendous amount of fallen away Christians are coming back recognizing the authority of the Pope to head the Church.

I knew that there was a unification going on but it is definitely an unholy unity. It is not a good thing at all. It is sneaky and the Catholic church is not the true church and does not teach the gospel of the One true God, which is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. For those who God has removed the scales from their eyes they can see the deception and the hidden lie. It is "another" gospel teaching "another Christ. But resembles the real one with just enough deception to deceive the entire world. Jesus did not come to unify all religions or even all christian denominations. He came to divide the truth from the lie and true believers from fake believers claiming to be Christians and to keep them separate, but it is man that is doing the unifying and it is to make way for the anti-christ. The one world church lead by the false prophet is also called the ecumenical movement and is headed by the catholic church.

A number of leading evangelicals signed it too. It seems that each one understood the document differently. I really don't think it is a move toward unith of denominations. You definietly will not see many protestants "coming hoome to catholicism"!

I am not sure if Lutherans, Catholics and Methodists are aware of it either.

Trust me, US will join with Mexico before anybody "returns" to Cathholic church.

You might make this whole thing a new video game. RETRO-GOD, get to level seven and you get to kill those who refuse to convert. That might have lots of appeal.
