My ex broke up with me 5 months ago. Now he flirts with my friend and stares at me a lot when I'm am in his vision. If he was over me, why would he do those things to me? He seems so unhappy all the time and he makes me feel that way when he is near my friend(my friend has a bf that she loves so much). I told him that I didnt want to be his friend without any explanation, but all he said was okay and I'm not going to change your mind about it. Does that mean that is what he wants to happen so I would run back to him? He's a jerk and I don't want to be his friend anymore. He used to be best friends with other ex's shortly after they broke up. What does it have to be so different with me? Was it because we were friends before? HELP!!!

im freinds with a few of my ex's. it all depends on the relationship. if you were freinds before for a long time you are more likly to be freinds after but it should take some time. if you just broke up with him or her and you just want to jump in and be friends its not going to happen. your somthering the other person give them time to decide how there going to handle being around you and not romanticly involved. its also harder to get back into a relationship after you liked someone a real lot. when i wasin highschool the chick i was head over heals for broke my heart and i was a huge jerk to her. its his way of telling you hes over you even though hes not. and hes looking at your freind because he want you to think hes moved on. give him some space dont try to become freinds real fast because it sounds like he had/ has deep fealings for you

It's weird but once friends become intimate the friendship relationship ends and a new relationship begins. To go back to just friends isn't possible right after the bread up because when an intimate relationship ends everyghing that was part of it must end also.. You can in time (after healing emotionally) open a new door but it is a new door and who knows where it will lead.

They can!!! My x and I are great friends. We did go through a period initially after the break up where she pretty much hated me and I was pretty much sick of her. But we are both reasonable, good, fun people and now we are practically best friends and both dating other people. It just takes understanding on both sides that sometimes things just aren't meant to be between 2 people...

Maybe, you two were never friends. Maybe, he likes to play games. Maybe, he doesn't know how to express his feelings. Maybe, you should just ask him what his problem is. He sounds like an annoying boy from elementary days. ha-ha Who knows what little boys think. Maybe, you should just stop including your emotions because it appears that he knows he's getting to you so he keeps playing the games. Send him a playground drawing for christmas. He sounds like a "waste" of time.

I think he is trying to let you go. If he see you he'll just get depressed that he lost you. This happens to me all the time when I see my ex around anywhere.

Why did you two break up. maybe he's trying to make u jealous by flirting with your friend. He wants you to think he has what it takes to get another woman and what better than your friend to make you jealous

All men like control, and when they lose that, they lose a little of their sanity. Don't forget, men can be very immature, also. Just don't let him see he's getting to you. That's what he wants.
