As a Jehovah's witness, we are trained to talk to people. Mostly at their own front door, but quite often informally at shops, doctors surgeries and bus stops.
We always use the bible to back up what we say. For example; Does almighty God have a personal name? answer. Exodus 3;13-15 and 6;3. Should we use that name or is it too holy to use? answer...Jesus stated that he woulds make his name ...manifest. that means to PUBLICISE it. Not to hide it away..
Question; Was Jesus in existence in heaven BEFORE he was sent to earth? answer; Proverbs 8; 22-31. Some religions say this scripture refers to the quality of wisdom. But can a quality have emotions...like 'fondness'?

our youth group started small studies , one for girls and one for boys, and people from other churches were invited by the girls and we meet once a week. I think the best way to attract people is to have other fun stuff there too. At mine, we make capuccinos and fellowship awhile before we start. It's very relaxed and fun...sometimes we make cookies and they cook while we study and we are going to have a christmas party as well. Good luck! Hope that helped!

I have studied the bible and the course in miracles. The course is far more interesting and brings you much closer to God than the bible ever could.

The problem nowadays, people who host have this power trip and think their IN AUTHORITY OF GOD and want to start a church or ministry. I can`t attend studies anymore i`m becoming to rude and want to interupt and explain why their wrong sometimes so I just don`t go anymore. I go to church or listen to studies online now. Some are telling me I`m ready to lead. But I don`t want to unless God divinely told me to.

Usually you must take the first step of expressing the Joy of Christ. Then once this common ground is established the Bible, Faith, Your Faith traditions, ritutals, and prayers will follow.
