You're right, I think it's something that's part of our brains, like it's an integral structure of our neurons and every cell of our body. Something that doesn't go away, even if we try to wash it away in forgetfulness, it remains, stuck inside. The ecstacy, the flirting glances, the first kiss, dancing under the full moon under the stars, that feeling of incredible longing and desire, the feeling of two souls together forever in this sea of eternity...why even bother trying to get rid of it? Even if you try to forget, even if you have found love again in another's eyes and start a family of your own, again and again you meet your first lover always in dreams, you're lying together in that special spot only you and your first love knew, laughing and kissing and talking until all time is lost. That deep gaze into each others eyes that no one can ever take away. It's that feeling that only comes with the first love, so intense like a fire that burned so hot even years later it is still embers, little sparks in the darkness of the present....
