I most definitely agree! Jesus, God, died for us, and we must be extremely grateful and loving to God.

I know you're pulling every body's legs here, you're not making any sense or giving any convincing argument why we should believe in your particular god, just because you say so...? When you say you believe in god you mean you accept others peoples opinions on the subject, how do you know such opinions have any reality or values outside this peoples feverish mind..? Man is eternal and has eternal life weather he believes or not in any particular opinion about any type of god, that is among others things his divine heritage. Since God "created" man on his own image, then man most have all of God qualities and potentialities, including been without an end and without a beginning, that's the meaning of eternity and eternal life, weather he has or not consciousness of any of his divine heritage that's another matter, maybe that's what you're talking about. When you say that Jesus died for our sins, I think that has to be explained. No body, but no body has ever made any convincing argument about the meaning of that, can you..? When intelligent people read the Bible the last thing they do is to believe in the god presented there. I'm not tying to insult your here, I just want to make conversation about a subject that fascinate me. If you can share any additional light about it I'll be very grateful.

I can't believe in God. I just cannot mentally get my head around the idea of Him existing. I suppose i would like religion to play a bigger part in my life as it does right now, but i cannot realistically imagine there being a God existing. I know there is that old arguement of, if He existed, then he wouldn't allow suffering/hunger, and i have to say i think that's a valid issue. I am nice to my parents and my brother, and i help around the house, so i'm not sure what that has to do with having read the bible. I also know i couldn't change what i think in my head to believe in a higher being just because i've read a book. Im a very logical person, so find it hard to accept that there is a God, although i think i would like to, i just can't.

Hun, these people are not going to listen. I go to to church and I am a Christian and I am proud you are trying. You know what is even more amazing to me is that people want to blame the weather on GLOBAL WARMING, when it clearly states in the Bible that right before the rapture weather would be out of control with earthquakes and all kinds of things. There would be eruption in the middle east and that is exactly what it happening over there! The prophecies are being fulfilled and the anti-christ will soon step onto the platform. He is coming soon and people are ignorant but in the end God will rule supreme. God bless you for trying.

Early human beings nonetheless had leaders, and those leaders needed the thank you to regulate the human beings. What greater appropriate way then to supply them God's and then make it so in the event that they do no longer obey their leaders, their destiny and torment does no longer in basic terms end at dying, yet lasts previous it? look returned by way of history, Pharaohs claimed to be descended from gods, so did Cesars, or maybe Kings and Queens, around the international. they might make the human beings believe if it rained, it replaced into because of the fact they wanted it to, or if it replaced right into a flood, it replaced into because of the fact they have been displeased. maximum of them have been lots greater appropriate knowledgeable then the poorer instructions, or maybe returned then could verify out clouds, and tell if it would typhoon with rather solid accuracy, and subsequently might announce it, and in basic terms make their claims seem to be real. Do slightly greater digging, you will see. Cheers!

Do you realize how slanted the Bible is? I wouldn't count on getting any factual information or truth from it because it has been changed and manipulated so much by the early church for power and even by the more modern church for their own convenience. I'm all for believing in God and/or Jesus or anything else you may want to believe in, but don't just take blindly what anybody else tells you, especially not the Bible. Faith should come from within yourself - so do some roul-searching before advising the rest of us to submit to a hierarchal organization that relies on traditions that don't fit out modern lifestyle and a book that was modified for anything but spiritual reasons.

Yes, I believe in God.
I do NOT however, 'believe' in the bible. The bible is a BOOK made by MAN --- mostly a bunch of rubbish.
God certainly isn't 'angry' and 'wrathful' and going to make his children burn in hell if they don't behave.
Imagine a parent telling a child they would burn them if they misbehaved --- wouldn't that be child abuse?

I believe in God but don't need to read Bible. You should not force your views on others.
