Creationism is 100% BULL DUKEY!! All it is, is freaky Christians grasping. Their afraid that if evolution is the explanation of life, than the Bible is false, therefore their faith is lost. But I don't understand this thought process. Why does questioning the bible make you non-christian? Why doesn't everyone know that the bible is scriptures pieced together by upperclass men in the 1600's based on what they thought was right and wrong? Just because the bible doesn't match up to what you were taught when you were 5-12 in comparrison to the thought process of adults in todays day in age, doesn't mean you have to either throw away your faith or make up some hookey explanation(creationism) for life on earth.

Several things are at work here. Intellectual laziness, fear of the unknown, and sense of inferiority, to name three. If you don't have the capacity, or energy to learn about the world you live in, simply credit some invisible force as the cause of everything. If you fear others, and desire to justify your prejudices, rationalize it as part of a plan of some greater entity. Finally, if you lack the courage to admit that you are merely an imperfect life form in the universe, and nothing more, create an all powerful being that considers you special, and blame your darker side on an evil force.

Well, just think about it: Saddam Hussein, Charles Manson, Jeffery Dahmer, Hitler, Stalin, Kim Jong Il are all products of intelligent design.
Also, children with cerebral palsy, stillborns, serial killers and pedophiles where all intelligently created.
What more do you need to believe in Intelligent Design?
It is self evident. It should be a Christian dogma.

Well, it depends on which version you're referring to. The 'Gap Theory' is absolute nonsense, an apology to Darwin. The fact that God created the heaven and the earth and all that is in them in seven days is truth. But making a classroom text of it is never going to work because someone's religion is going to influence it one way or the other. Of course, the wishful thinking story of rain falling on a rock for billions of years and manifesting life is stupid. Science should be taught in public elementary and secondary schools based on science, not on hopes and fears. The study of origins should be left to post-secondary education, and ALL the propaganda represented as fact should be banned.

Explain why you think it's bull. Then, when you find that you don't have a reason except that you were always taught evolution, listen to a creationist who really knows what he's saying. Without any bias, choose which worldview makes sense. Come on, man! If you don't know why people are so excited about it, ASK THEM!

It's easier to use the fairy tale of Creation, than it is to comprehend the process of Evolution that truly is creation. Christians are too lazy to try to understand anything more than a fairy tale
