Your dentist should be able to remove a lot of this with regular cleanings.

Wow, people really pull stuff outta nowhere!!
Only a dentist or dental hygienest can remove the tarter around your teeth. DO NOT USE A SAFETY PIN!! That's just gross!!!
And you can cause damage to both your teeth and your gums.
Normal brushing (twice a day, 2 minutes each time) and flossing every day is enough to keep your teeth healthy as long as you go to the dentist regularly. It's a lot less expensive to do preventative maintanence than restoritive work.
Have your teeth cleaned every 6 months. Get whatever cavities you have filled and so forth. The cleaning may be a little uncomfortable the first time you go, but when you go back for your recalls, it will be much easier!!
Good luck!!

The best thing to do is go to your dentist for cleaning and check up.
Tartar form by plaque which is a soft and white film that on your teeth after eating and drinking. When plaque is not removed within 24 hrs it will become calcified (harden) and each day it will get harder. If tartar is not remove it will cause your gum to get red, swollen, inflamed and irritated. The gum will moved away from teeth which leave a space between gum and teeth. The bacteria will get trapped inside the space, eventually will destroy bone and cause you to lose your teeth.
After your visit to the dentist, the best way to prevent tartar build up is to floss and brush daily. The rotary brushing is better than manual brushing. Visit your dentist 2-3 time a year.

I get that, too on the inside of my bottom front teeth especially- it drives me nuts!! Plaque can be removed because it's soft, but tartar is hard as rock! Sometimes when I can't stand it, I get a clean safety pin and dig it out - I'm not recommending this, you could stab your gum and get an infection. What does work is after a good dental cleaning, concentrate on the gumline when brushing, floss and use Listerine a.m. & p.m. They say to gargle 30 sec., but I find that too intense, so I just do the best I can. You have to be religious, though, or it starts building up again. My girlfriend's mother-in-law also swears by the water-pick.

Concerning your wisdom teeth, it is normal to have extreme sensitivity, because I have that right now. What a pain. :( The tartar, if left there long enough, will irritate your gum and create a pocket between the tooth socket and the root. There is a possibility that your gums will become red and inflammed and your tooth may fall out. Use a toothpick and try scraping the tartar off. Remember the floss everyday and brush properly.

tartar around the teeth cannot be removed either by brushing nor by flossing , i t can be removed only by oralprophylaxis which includes scaling which is done by either denatl hygienist or by adentist .
if u allow the tartar to get accumilated on the teeth , it will lead to severe gingivitis and periodontitis ( leading to severe bone loss)
better go to dentist and scaling done
