You can do crunches and situps until the world ends, but your abs will never see the light of day until you lower your bodyfat. I don't care if you're 6ft and weight 130 lbs, you can still carry a decent amount of bodyfat in your abdominal area.
Try a combination of 5 sets of as many crunches as you can do, 3 days a week and jog 3-5 miles a day, at least 3 days a week.
Also try to cut out as much junk food as you can stand and also limit your intake of carbohydrates.

Okay I speak from experience. You should do at least 100 to 200 crunches a day to get a four pack by a month or two. If you want more info, just go on the Internet.

I will have nice abs about 6 months into my afterlife, you may have them sooner. Some people really can't get very defined without a strict regimen. Try to cut salt, sugar, carbonated drinks and gas causing foods from your diet. Increase water consumption, do a ton of cardio and try exercises that work your abs and not just crunches. Try an exercise ball or yoga. Good Luck.

It's not all about how many crunches you do, it's also about your body fat percentage. You can do all the crunches in the world - if you have a layer of fat on top of 'em, they won't show. I'd recommend more aerobic exercise and experimenting with your diet. They have body fat % scales for $20-$100 at your local grocery store. Note, "ripped" body builders are about 5% body fat for men, 10% for women, add another 5% when they're "off-season."

to get abs you have to have a nice build u cant be too chubby and u cant be too skinny. u can get abs but if your stomach is hiding them then theres no point really unless u want a stronger back. i'd say run 2 miles a day and do 150 crunches. cut back on junk foods

A good ab workout is:
Crunches
Flutter Kicks (for lower abs)
full twisting situps
and if you can find a torso rotation machine at a local gym or something that really helps
