Most people have limewire, so I recommend that to you. I have heard of bearshare, but it's not as popular as limewire.

Yes. Bearshare is a sharing program. Is basically lets you access files that are on another person's computer. Depending on how well the file is spread, your download should be quick and easy. And yes. You can put songs you get from bearshare on ipod. After you download songs, bearshare puts it in its own folder called MY DOWNLOAD. Its usally loacted on your c:\ drive. Just lead your itune there and everything should go good. PS. I don't use the new one. SO if your asking about the new bearshare. I have no idea about it. Cause its a new interface and i didn't like it. So i continue to use the old one because you have more access to a lot more files and its easy to use.

It's an older P2P filesharing program. The great thing about bearshare used to be that it was spyware and adware free. I haven't used it in about 4 years though, so I don't know if it's still the same. Yes, once you download the files you can import them into iTunes and then put them onto your iPod. Same thing with Limewire.

But, you should be aware that anything you download over a P2P network is at high risk for being infected with a virus. Always scan anything that you download with a virus scanner.
