First you need to take in some vitamin c and other nutrients because your immune system is weak because when you dont have proper nutrients that makes you prone to catching colds and flu. Drink plenty of water and sip warm tea that helps to calm a sore throat and have plenty of lozengers handy.

There is no known cure for the common cold. Just remember drink plenty of liquids, hot tea with lemon is good, maybe some extra vitamin C and take Tylenol for fever. If you want to rest and have trouble with congestion and coughing there are many over the counter cold medications such as Alka Seltzer Cold Plus, NyQuil, etc. For the sore throat I recommend Lozenges with vitamin B and Zinc as well as gargling with Cepecol or even old fashioned vinegar and salt. Try not eat anything too heavy, chicken soup is always good and comforting as well. Hope you feel better soon.

i think you might have meant cough in that last part...but couch isn't a bad idea! take it easy a few days, and drink some hot tea. When I'm sick, I like to snuggle up with my teddy bear (don't laugh!) and just sleep. But if that ain't possible, then take dayquil in the day to help you get through without symptoms (for a while..) and nyquil at night to help you get the sleep you need.

hope you feel better!

Zicam, since you are already sick, the Zicam will shorten the length of the cold and help you to get better faster. Drink lots of orange juice, not only will the vitamin C, help but the juice will keep you hydrated and give you energy.

IF it is just a cold, you can go see a doctor and he can give you medicine and you will get better in a week.

OR you can stay at home, take aspirin, drink plenty of fluids and it will go away in approximately 7 days.

Sore throat......might need some antibiotics for that.
Good luck. Pops
