I don't have piercers at my studio but if a piercer or tattoo artist is not the owner of the studio, it is common and appropriate to tip them around 20% just like you would at a nice hair salon.
They provide a service and should be respected for it. Thank you for asking.

Absolutely if you are happy with the work. If the piercer is someone who really is conserned for you and takes time to explain things!
The piercer is providing a service to you - just like a waiter and hairdresser do. I think 10-20% is sufficient.

i dont know about piercers, i tip my tattoo artist like crazy, shes the best one if had so far and wont go anywhere else for the next ones i get. id say give them a few bucks the tips are where they make the money anyways. my last tattoos cost me close to 500 bucks with the tips. both were 175 and i gave a 50-75 $ tip each time.i guess it all depends on hoe satisfied you are with the finished work....

i will always tip my tattoo/piercer guy...i guess it all depends how everything went. if they were just rude but did a good job i wouldnt tip them much at all. its like a waitress even if the food was good but the service was horrible they shouldnt get that good of a tip...but i usually do like 20% or 15% something like that ya know

I wouldn't think you would have to tip the piercer, cause you are paying for the piercing in the first place. It is not like a restuarant.

If they did a really good work i think that u should pay the piercers like about $10.00,if they didn't do it how u like it give them $1.00.
