I don't want to pig out, and go to mcdonalds and wendys and burger king, and fast food places, pizza, snacks, all that, but I do want to gain weight, but by eating healthy foods is that possible?
I am very underweight, I am 5"4, 68 pounds, and 14 years old.
The school sychatrist is taking me out of class to eat, but for some reason I can't eat more than 3 meals a day, and even sometimes when I do eat more than that, I never gain weight.
Is there any healthy way to gain weight? No pills, no drugs, no fatning foods, but rather I want to eat healthy.

Why do you say no fattening foods? Don't you mean unhealthy? The fact is that you need fattening, healthy foods. You need yogurt, cheese, potatoes (baked), rice (brown). You may want to supplement your meals that you eat with a Boost or Ensure...healthy calorie additions.

I think your condition sounds serious and you need to work on this with your psychiatrist. I'm going to assume you have an eating disorder because you or your guardian(s) have you seeking psychiatric evaluation on your eating patterns. Usually in this situation you are paired with a nutritionist who will help you with a meal plan. If not, I would seek help with your family physician. What, when, and the amount you eat to gain weight in a healthy matter requires a complete examination by a professional.

Good luck

you can gain weight that is easly turned into muscle as long as you work out and it is healthy. all you have to do is eat peanutbutter and honey sandwiches. 4 or 5 a day should do it if not eat more. but don't over do itwe had a local guy that wanted to go from high school football to to college football but the college coach told him he needed to pick up some weight he told him to eat the sandwiches and he gained the weight he needed.

You need to regularly take in more calories than you burn. Combining this with toning exercises helps too.

Set yourself a realistic target weights and aim to gain gradually - To do that you'll need to add an extra 300 to 350 calories or so to your daily intake. So it's fine if you're not eating fatty foods. eat an extra 2 apples thats 200 calories right there

Top tips
Keep a food diary for a couple of weeks to learn more about your eating habits.
Rather than struggling to eat a few really big meals, plan three regular meals plus two or three snacks.
If you tend to eat erratically, write down a regular meal plan and keep to it.
Make meals a little larger or more calorific. For example, have an extra slice of toast at breakfast; drink grape juice rather than orange juice; make coffee with milk; serve an extra spoon of mash, rice or pasta; be more generous with healthier unsaturated oils, salad dressing and spreads; always have a dessert.
Have snacks to hand so you never go short. Good choices include nuts, seeds and raisins; pots of rice pudding, custard or yoghurt; cereal or cereal bars; flapjacks; milk, yoghurt drinks or smoothies; a scone or fruit bun; wheatmeal biscuits; cheese and crackers; fruit plus small chocolate bar.
Exercise options
Although exercise helps to burn calories, it's important to include some form of activity into your plan to help keep your bones strong and your muscles toned.

Ensure regular physical activity for 30 minutes (or two 15-minutes sessions), five days a week - walking is ideal.
Combine this with some resistance training using gym equipment or home weights, if possible. First seek safe advice from a qualified fitness adviser.
Take care not to be too active. If you're someone who's always on their feet, make time to relax each day.
Keep up your increased food intake to fuel your exercise - with enough to spare to allow you to gain weight gradually.
Maintaining your healthier weight
Once you've reached your target weight, to maintain it you need to keep up the lifestyle changes you've made.

in case you wan't to income weight, and build muscle. you do no longer wan't to easily over consume with junk ingredients. this would easily makeyou fatter, and unsafe. yet once you wan't to income muscle you will could drink some extreme protein drink's, shakes, ingredients. Peanut Butter & Jelly i think of would be a solid start up. The Peanut Butter will provide you Protein, jointly as the Jelly has lot's of extreme Fructose, and Sugars, to help positioned of the burden. you are able to wan't to envision out some much less costly CVS Pharmacy over the counter varieties of organic herb pills to help help the muscle mass. i will't think of of any names of those varieties, yet i understand they exist, i've got heard of folk taking them, and had solid outcomes whilst taken normally.
