How come whenever you make pancakes, the first one never comes out right?

I was making blueberry pancakes last night and noticed that while the first one came out wrong, the rest were fine--minus a flopper of a pancake on the sixth.

this is actually a conspiricy between those who make the pans you use for making pancakes and the ones that make flour.
It is a reaction between the pan you make pancakes in and the flour. (the actuall cemical reaction is pretty complicated, but with a little search on the internett you will find it). The result is that you have to use a little more flour than you really need when you make pankakes.

If you add together all those bad firstpancakes that has to be replased each day all over the world, you can see that they contains a whole lot of flour and that makes the flourcompanies and pancompanies make a wholelot of more money.
The money is then used to convice people that the earth is flat. I could tell you more about this group, but at the time it is very unsafe for me to do so.
I hope more people will soon realise this conection and will join us in the fight against bad first pancakes!

Pancakes 2 & 3 were a pair, pancakes 4 & 5 were a pair. Pancake 6 was the match for pancake 1. In the end, all pancakes were matched up. What you observed was love in action, and you were part of making it happen. Everyone has a mate out there somewhere. And the pancakes (especially 1 & 6) love you for what you did for them. If there's a pancake heaven, you'll be welcome there. If you have kids, tell them. They'll be proud and brag about you to other kids.

The universe is a strange and wonderful thing... however it may be that the pan is just not hot enough to give u good result right away. Try waiting a bit longer before starting the first one

In my opinion, it takes the first one to get the temperature of the pan adjusted. After the first one you can kinda guage whether the pan needs to be a little hotter or a little cooler.

The pan isn't hot enough.

But if you wait, the LAST one will be burnt.

It's the universe's way of saying "save one for me".
Or, like rappers say, some for tupac, lol!
