If you get layers it will help a lot.

Yes, I think this will help u a lot because I got tired of my big poofy hair so I cut it shrt and that helped! When u do get your hair thinned it may not look the way u want it for the 1st few days because ur hair has to get use to it being thin! Well I wish u good luck with your hair! If u don't get it thinned cuz u may have changed your mind or something then dep gel works really good with poofy hair! TOODLES!

I have really thick hair too, and I can tell you from experience that you don't want to have your hair thinned. The best thing you could do for your hair is to put layers in it. This will make your hair appear less full and poofy, and is a very pretty hairstyle.

I have really thick hair as well. The best thing that I've done is to get layers in my hair. It's made it look a little thinner. Also, I get it thinned A LOT. It works for me, maybe it will work for you, too.

Watch out thinning your hair to much could make it frizzy, especially if it is wavy. I have super thick wavy hair and to decrease the volume I buzzed off the bottom inch and a half of my hair in the back. That was great!

I have the exact same situation as you...my hair is soo thick I get frustrated on what to do with it every day. But don't get it thinned, trust me. A friend of mine had thicker hair than mine and got it thinned-it looked HORRIBLE. Be glad you have thick hair! Because when you get older, your hair is going to become stringy and thin. Having thick hair is annoying at times but can be dealt with. I guess we're lucky to have thick hair!

thinning will help a lot because i have the same problem. but don't go to thin because thick hair is so beautiful. my friend has super thin hair and it is very flat and ugly.

i had my hair thinned and it didn't really do anything. i used to wear a little bit of gel in my hair to tame the poof/frizz. i shower every day cuz it's easier to do my hair when it's wet. i wear mine up all the time. i like to put anti frizz cream in it. that works good. or you could try mousse. they have so much out there you just got to look around

I have thick hair too. Don't get it thinned. Get it layered.

you can get layers and try to have it straighted or rebounded, it really helps. I've seen allot of my friends puffy hair turn into nice and straight thin hair. So spend an amount of money; go to your trusted salon and have it rebounded, it helps! : )
