Yes, as a matter of fact. But it was not voluntary.

When I was 12 years old, I was talking to a friend of mine named Larry, who came from a strictly fundamentalist Christian family. That was way back before it had become a fad and a social thing.

I mentioned that I had seen some very fancy (to folks like us) luggage for sale at a store in town and that it was Samsonite brand. He became instantly enraged, told me that since Sampson was in the Bible, I was using the Lord's name in vain, and he shot me in the left leg.

That was my body piercing in the name of Jesus. I note that an awful lot of the people on Yahoo Answers seem mentally to be as one with Larry and his ilk.

I have a few I would love to show you, but I am sure my wife would have a problem if I did.

Being an atheist I guess it really wasn't in Jesus's name, but having someone put a needle through your naughty part is certainly a spiritual experience.

My coworker is highly religious and he has a cross and a Jesus tattoo... which, imo is odd, because I thought the bible spoke against doing such things to your body.

Is there any other way to get a body piercing?

It's funny that the guy named 'Loser' above me said 'shame on you'.

No. final names did not fairly exist in those days. "Christ" replaced into the Greek call given to Jesus which ability "the Messiah" or "the Savior." Jesus replaced into his Greek call; Joshua replaced into his Aramaic call. R.C.C.M.
