Great Pyrenees are definatly right up there for me. They do an outstand job guarding my farm, and my goats.

My current favorite breed however is a Pannish. Pannish are a terribly rare breed of dogs. They are herding dogs. The breed will probably become extinct within the next 10-15 years.

My favorite breed of dog is a german shepherd. I own three of them. I like the bond they form with the family. They are very social dogs that need to have someone interact with them several hours a day. So unless you have time to devote don't own this breed. If you have the time the love and devotion is beyond words. These animals are working dogs by nature. Bear our 2 year old brings you his leash to walk. Lily my sons Shepherd that he has had since he was 8 years old (now 16) follows him around everywhere. As I stated only own this breed if you have the time to devote to their care and social skills. If you are going to just put them in a yard do not purchase this breed. They will tear up everything in site and dig holes in your yard. A sign of lonely and nothing to do because they are working dogs and you have to keep them busy and in a family surrounding.

I love any kind of dog. I have a husky/shiba inu mix who looks just like a purebred husky. Those are one of my favorite breeds. I also had a blonde cocker spaniel. They are also sweet dogs. I would also love to have a beagle and a Jack Russell Terrier. Maybe even a corgi, too. lol. But little dogs are so hyper.

Bichonpoo. I have a 4 month old Bichonpoo (photo at left) and she is the best dog I ever owned. She is so cute. She is very smart and easily trainable. She loves everyone and gets along with all other animals. She is just a great all around dog.

Weimaraners. Something about the beautiful grey coat, glassy blue or gold eyes contrasting and those big floppy ears that just have me hooked!

Also am partial to big dogs, Mastiffs, St Bernards, Great Danes...love them Big Dogs!

Golden Retrievers. I have had 3 of them and they are so loving and gentle. With decent training they are not ripper rappers like Small dogs. The last dog, Ben, liked to lean against me to show love. When I die my ashes will follow him down the Bitterroot River.

Retrievers!
My Black lab is the most loyal dog ever and so sweet!
My baby would crawl over her head and pull on her ears, and she would just let him. Not a growl, not anything (except trying to keep away from him at times)
