Keith Ellison from Minnesota is the first Muslim to be elected to the US House of Representatives. While I do not know for certain that Keith has made this request I would say that in Keith's case swearing on the Quran would be more meaningfull than swearing on the Bible.

His name is Keith Ellison Muhammed. He's the United States' first Muslim representative, as well as the State of Minnesota's first black Congressman.

Kieth Ellison. He belongs to the hate group Nation of Islam. It is a militant, black racist cult, that hates all whites, Jews, Christians , and Americans (even though they are American). I can not believe that any group of people in this country could elect a member of a known terrorist group to a political office. But a predominately black area in Minnesota elected a terrorist to represent them. The sad part is they knew who he was before hand.
