REINDEER POOP!
You'll make everyone laugh if you do this:
Get a carton of malted milk balls that you have added antlers, eyes, nose and mouth to make it look like a reindeer. Cut out a little hole at the back bottom of the carton (I'd suggest leaving a "flap" on it so you can keep the malted milk balls inside or let them out) and attach this poem:

"Woke up with such a scare when I heard Santa call...
"Now dash away, dash away, dash away all!"
I ran to the lawn, and in the snowy white drifts,
those nasty reindeer had left "little gifts".

I got an old shovel and started to scoop
Neat little piles of "reindeer poop."
but to throw them away seemed such a waste,
So I saved them, thinking you might like a taste!

As I finished my task, which took quite a while,
Old Santa passed by and he sheepishly smiled.
And I heard him exclaim as he rose to the sky~~~
"Well, they're not potty trained, but at least they can fly!"

Make the door look like your looking through a window with shutters at a snowy scene. Maybe a little pine tree would be in the distance with colorful decorations. Put large pine boughs poking out from behind the shutters to give some scale...and make the little tree look like it's a way off in the distance.

Go to a craft store like Michaels. I make homemade wreaths and they are beautiful. I use battery operated lights. I'm sure you'll find many other craft ideas at a craft store too =)

how about covering it with a solid color and wrapping it with a bow or how about doing the same but a lighter colored paper and having markers hang down and asking people to write about what they like about Christmas best/what Christmas means to them get some camaraderie going on the spirt of Christmas isn't that what Christmas is all about!! Merry Christmas!
