the positive side effects of effexor are:
it takes away your depression
it makes you lose your appetite (i lost a lot of weight when i was on effexor.
it takes away OCD

I take Effexor XR 150 mg once daily for PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder, an extreme form of PMS). It literally saved my life. I no longer have the disabling racing thoughts. The severe depression, mood swings and all the other very nasty symptoms of PMDD have eased as well. I do still PMS, but it is SO much better now. I'm a fairly decent person with which to live! LOL

I take 300mg of Effexor daily, it has saved my live. Without it l could bearly get out of bed little lone have a life. It has helped my depression majorly l am now able to function like other people.
I have not had any bad side affects.

I used it several years ago, it helped with my depression and I lost weight. On the downside... it can affect your labido....
