I use Frizz-ease or something like that...I also use anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner. To keep my hair curly i use (i think) L'oreal Pumping Curls, which is spray stuff that you spray on your hair to keep the curls. You can also try using hair spray and hair gel to make it stay wavy instead of curly, you're probably going to have to try a bunch of different products to get your hair the way you want it. Depending on if you want hard or soft curls you'll use different products. You also may want to try cutting it differently. To have the top of your hair curl, you'll want to get some of the weight off of it, and keep it short...like layers. The best bet is to experiment with products that an acquaintance has used that you could borrow, or ones on sale at a store, that way, you'll have nothing to lose!
=) good luck!

I also have wavy, frizzy hair and here's what helps for me. First, avoid silicone products. Anything that says 'shine serum' or 'frizz fighter' is full of silicone which coats the hair with heavy stuff. In the long run, it dehydrates the hair and makes it worse. Instead, wash your hair every other day, but condition every day. Deep condition once a week by putting conditioner or mayonaise on your hair and covering it with a shower cap and a hot towel for 30 minutes. Consider investing in good quality products (Biolage, Matrix, etc), they have ingredients that are better for your hair. If you can't afford salon stuff, try Aussie or Herbal Essences. I've had good luck with them on a budget. When you get out of the shower, spray on a leave-in conditioner and comb through. Scrunch in a curl cream (I love Aveda. It's pricy, but one tube at $15 lasted me 6 months.) and twirl sections of hair into ringlets. Let airdry, or use a diffuser. Never ever use a brush; it makes frizz worse. If your hair is long enough, braid it while it's wet before you go to bed. You'll have gorgeous waves when you wake up. Find a hairdresser who is good with frizzy, wavy hair and get a good haircut. Good luck!

I've tried everything on earth that says it'll make frizz go down. But what I later realized is frizzy hair is dehydrated hair. Instead, buy shampoo, conditioner, serum that infuses intense moisture. It worked for me!

we seem to have pretty similar problems with our hair so i'll tell you what i do. it works soooooo well!! ok, so to get rid of the dryness slather coconut oil, egg yolk and mayonaise onto your hair, then leave it in for a few hours and then rinse it out. I know it sounds absolutly repulsive, but it really works. your hair will be so much more hydrated! i did it and i've gotten so many complements! then to get the frizziness down i use garnier fructies hard curl gel, this controls your curls/waves and your hair will look AMAZINGGG!!! i hope this works out for you :]

I've heard that if you use leave in conditioner that it'll help control your frizziness.
