no, it can be naiive, it can be infatuate (which is when the people involved in the love are at a point where they know the least about each other) and it can be companionate, where there is a strong sense of friendship tied into the love, much like a family has.

Love can definitely be blind. I could type this very much personal and long story of mine but i wont plus you just want an answer to your question. The thing is that couples don't know what they have and i'm talking about couples who has been with each other 5-50 years and more. Most of us try to find love and when it does we really don't know what to do with it. Example: (personal past agenda of mine) I proposed to this guy I know and we were very much in love but he didn't know what to do when I propose... (is not that he had cold feet) but he didn't know what love is and what it means to be in love and the steps of insuring love; Anyway I don't want to type anything theatrical or theortical...

It is possible for people to be blinded by love. I grew up with an abusive step father and he abused me in front of my mom and treated my sister like sh*t. He hit her many times and now he still lives with us so yeah. I guess love is blind and pain full.

No love is not blind. Love is accepting. Love can see all of a persons shortcomings and love that person IN SPITE of those shortcomings.

If humans are going to make choices on their significant other based on a release of fluid in the brain then YES.

God is Love, God is not blind.

Justice is blind. That's why she wears a sash over her eyes.

Yes, but it's not a necessity. I prefer love with it's eyes wide open - like the love of God in Jesus Christ.
