Yes, he is in a different stage of his life than you are, meaning your heads are in different places. Also, you should be wondering why this guy can't get anyone his own age-he could be super immature, just to name one possibility.

The age difference isn't great at all, and if it really is love, don't let it go. But I would be careful, so he doesn't get in trouble.
