I have refrigerated some LoMein noodles for over a week and want to heat them up and eat them now. Are the probably still okay? I tasted them and they taste okay and they don't smell strange....but I'm worried over a week is too long and the food has gone bad. Should I be worried?

Yes you should be worried. The maximum time for chinese food is 2 or 3 days. Cant always go by the smell. You might get food poisoning if u eat that stuff. Throw it away.

Too long! Not worth the possibility of diarrhea. Most leftovers should be eaten within 3-4 days. Refrigeration slows the growth of bacteria but doesn't stop it.

well if they don't smell bad then give it try. I personally don't like day old chinese food because it doesn't taste as good as it did the day before.

Personally I wouldn't eat them. A week is a bit long. Three days is the most I'd go.

If the food has gone bad, it's best just to eat curry. It helps build your immune system.
