I have to agree with bear facts. As an Elantra owner for the past 4 years (own an 02 model) I can tell you it is the best car, for the least price. Feel like throwing extra money down the toilet?? Fine, then buy yourself a Toyota. They're pricey, and you're stupid for paying it. Save yourself THOUSANDS of dollars and buy a Hyundai. 10 year / 100,000 mile warranty...you're an absolute idiot to pass it up.

And yes, my Hyundai has had problems...both of them covered under warranty. I didn't pay a dime.

And the Elantra looks great for 07, the wife and I are probably going to get one soon. The old El has a ton of miles.

Good luck

I am rather biased in my opinion I work for a Hyundai dealer, but lets look at facts.
Hyundai has a 5yr bumper to bumper warranty if your buying new.Corolla 3yrs if your financing it's covered until it's payed for.
Price a fully loaded Elantra is about 4000.00 cheaper that a Toyota with the same equipment. The warranty on all hyundai's are haggle free, you do not have argue with the dealer to get warranty work done. You could just go to a dealer and drive the elantra and then drive the corolla and see which you like best.
My choice would be the elantra it's better looking

you just checkout both the cars at the showroom.
trying doing them the same day with the corolla being the first car.

when you sit inside the car the hyundai feels very different
from the steering wheels to the air vents they all look like the've been made out of cheap plastic, there is no life in them.

doesn't make you feel like you have spent so much money to buy such a thing.

moreover the corolla has better resale value that really helps after 5 years or so when you are selling the car. it drives better and is more reliable too. reliability is a key factor when buying a car because you dont want to spend time at the service center arguing about the condition of the car

rest upto you

well i work on the elantras all the time. there both good vehicle's but for the money and the warranty u get with the Hyundai's i would get the elantra. they have come a long way in the past few years. and they have become popular over here in Australia.

hyundai's do look enticing with their wannabe good looks and low price, but you pretty much get what you pay for. they're known to be problematic. toyotas last forever. just look take a look on the road today, you still see those old beat-up '85 corollas running around.
