Just 1, and it is used to assist with chipping out of the egg. After that I guess it just falls out.

Yes only one it is an egg tooth it is on the outside of the beak to break the egg to hatch. It is only visable in the first few days, it falls off or gets absorbed into the beak as it changes shape. A parrot chick has a straight beak when it hatches and the beak grows hookbill afterwards.
If you are asking do they have teeth inside the mouth then no they do not ever, just 1 outside to hatch.

Baby chicks don't have "teeth", they have beaks. But when they first hatch there is a sharp appendage on the end of the beak called an "egg tooth" that helps them crack out of their shell. It falls off within the first day of hatching.

Birds grind up food matter in their "crop", a hollow organ near the base of their throat that has a raspy-feeling interior. Chicks will also consume "grit" (little stones) that are also stored in the crop to help grind up the food they eat.

Chicks have one tooth used for chipping out of their eggs, but they normally lose that one very early. And there's always the change of a mutant chicken... kinda like Kermit the frog with false teeth.

NO, birds do not have teeth...this is part of thier specialization for flight, teeth and a jaw would be much too heavy, they would never get off the ground.
