What would be the best DVD ripper for converting videos into MPEG formats?

and if possible free....or for a low price.

Imgburn is good, DVD shrink and DVD dycrypter work very well. Most DVDs rip fine. When they don't I use my DVD recorder hooked up with my DVD player, you need an S cable. hook them up just like you did when you hook up two VCRs
