Would I be able to lose 100 pounds by September 1, 2007?

Any extra tips on doing that would be great.

sure it's possible and it can be done a SAFE way. i'v heard an actually seen people who go to "La Weight Loss" and i'm amazed at how much they lose and how quickly,my sister in law is one of them, you can lose at least 3 pounds a week, safely, i have heard it is the "diabetic diet" and that is a safe diet. good luck to you whatever you choose!!

It's possible, but it would be dangerous, foolish, and ultimately most likely futile. The only way to lose weight and KEEP IT OFF, which is what you goal is, is to do it sensibly. That means eat less and exercise more -- that's the only way to lose weight and maintain the weight loss. If you use a pill or fad diet or anything else that is not sustainable, you'll only gain the weight back as soon as you stop taking the pill or go off the diet. You have to make lifestyle changes for the long-term, and this is something that takes time.

I'd urge you to set a smaller goal for yourself and take things more slowly. I lost 45 pounds 12 years ago and have never gained any of it back, and I did it by taking my time and making small changes to my every day lifestyle that I could stick with for good. Eat healthier, add more exercise to your day -- this is the only magic bullet out there.

Yep! you can do anything you set your mind to. Stay active daily-even if it's a walk around the block! Just eat lean meats like chicken. Take your daily vitamins, Drink water, limit yourself to only 1-2 sugary sweets per week. feel confident in yourself, it'll be easier to reach your goal. In the end, what will be rewarding is a healthier you. And all that exercising will pay off.

Possible-yes; healthy-to lose1-2lbs per week. Eat oatmeal every day for brkfst--no butter, no milk, no sugar!! EAT EVERY 3 HOURS. Snack with fruits/veggies in between meals. Portion control!! minimum 1500mL water every day. AND EXERCISE but start slowly (2-3x/wk --10min) gradually move up each week until 30 min every day!!
